Mazda vehicles have an excellent reputation for quality and durability, and the company stands behind all of their cars. They do this with extensive warranties for both their regular gas-powered models and hybrids. Here, Wellesley Mazda discusses the Mazda hybrid battery warranty, along with other coverage.
MAZDA Hybrid Battey Warranty
With basic maintenance — including regular inspections — hybrid batteries can stay in great condition for the life of the vehicle. It is good to know, however, that they are well-protected with a warranty. They come with a High Voltage Battery Limited warranty that covers defects in materials or workmanship, which is good for 96 months or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first.
Extra Warranty Coverage for New Vehicles
The battery warranty isn’t the only coverage you’ll get with a new Mazda hybrid. Every model comes with a New Vehicle Limited warranty for 36 months or 36,000 miles. For that duration, you will also have access to 24-hour emergency roadside assistance.
A Powertrain Limited Warranty is standard as well. This one goes for 60 months or 60,000 miles, and it covers components like the engine and transmission.
Warranties for MAZDA Certified Pre-Owned Models
You may be glad to know that not just new models come with warranties. If you opt for a Mazda Certified Pre-Owned model, you’ll get the remainder of both of the warranties above. Plus, you will get a CPO Limited warranty good for an extra year or 12,000 miles.
